Send in the Clowns: Sondheim's Extraordinary Women

Closing this year's Lichfield Festival on Saturday 14th July will be The Stephen Sondheim Society's new cabaret/revue Send in the Clowns: Sondheim's Extraordinary Women. Curated, hosted and MD'd by the two-time Tony-nominated Musical Director Jason Carr, this Sondheim-fest will feature four dazzling lights of musical theatre – Corrine Priest, Charlotte Page, Beverley Klein and Nigel Richards – celebrating the lovers, wives, mistresses, witches and bloodthirsty pie-makers who populate the shows of Stephen Sondheim and his collaborators.

Society Chairman Craig Glenday paid a visit to a recent rehearsal for the show, at Jason's home in Crouch End, and caught up with the glamorous quartet. (Sorry, quintet, Jason!)
