Sondheim The Magazine: May 2018 issue

Members should look out for the next edition of Sondheim The Magazine, due to drop on to doormats in the coming week.

The cover feature is our Q&A with Broadway star Melissa Errico, who gave us an exclusive insight into her career and experience with Sondheim during her visit to London earlier this year for her UK solo cabaret debut. Our cabaret editor, Jeremy Chapman, also reviews her Sondheim-only show and, needless to say, was blown away by her unique talents.

Also inside are reviews of two recent Assassins, at RADA and the Pleasance Theatre, and the recent Sondheim On Sondheim at London's Royal Festival Hall. Accompanying the review of the latter is David Lardi's history of SoS, which also compares the show's London premiere with the New York original – there's a surprising amount that's different.
